Marq Evans
Marq is an award-winning independent filmmaker and creative entrepreneur. His debut feature film, THE GLAMOUR & THE SQUALOR, won top prize at film festivals around the world before being acquired by Red Bull Media House. Upcoming feature films include WELCOME TO MY DAYDREAM and AS LONG AS YOUR HEAD IS NOT CUT OFF YOU CAN WEAR A HAT. He is represented by XYZ Talent Management.
In addition to film, Marq has produced commercials for clients including the Smithsonian Institute, U.S. Navy, and Clinton Global Initiative.
With his wife, Angela, and son, Jude, Marq leads The McCaw, a boutique creative studio. The family business creates film, books, photography and other unclassifiable works such as the Cow by Bear dinner party experience.
Marq holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Washington State University and an MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts. He lives and works in Bremerton, Washington where he teaches Digital Filmmaking at Olympic College.
Angela McCaw-Evans
Angela Evans is a photographer and producer whose work spans commercial portraiture, product photography, and documentary film production.
As co-founder of The McCaw, she brings strategic focus to the studio's creative ambitions while maintaining a client base throughout the Pacific Northwest. Her photography work serves clients up and down the West Coast, and her Aberdeen family roots deeply inform the studio's Pacific Northwest aesthetic and storytelling sensibility.
Angela holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Washington State University and lives in Bremerton with her husband Marq and son Jude.
Jude McCaw Evans
Jude is the Chief Idea Generator of The McCaw, initiating ideas at a rate you’d have to see to believe. He is perhaps best known as multi-instrumentalist and singer of his bands Tambourine Colour and Violent Lizard. Jude is in the 5th grade.
